Detective/Police Officer

Jimmy Carter

Farnhaim, MN

I am a 15 year veteran in the areas of law enforcement, investigations, and law in general. I was employed with a major police agency in the Farnhaim area wherein I gained invaluable experience with the enforcement of laws, and the application of federal, state and local statutes and ordinances. As a detective in the area of property crimes, more specifically burglary, theft, and fraud, I have developed an extensive and precise ability to effectively investigate a myriad of different crimes, schemes, and situations.

Work Experience

Detective/Police Officer

Union Village Police Department
Union Village, AZ
2000 to 2015

As a patrol officer for five years I developed an ability to immediately evaluate a situation and take appropriate action. Recognizing when criminal activity or fraud was occurring became second nature. I was also trained and certified in first aid and critical incident response. As a detective in fraud and burglary/ theft for five years, I gained invaluable experience. I have written well over 150 search warrants, and hundreds of subpoenas. I am a certified document examiner (for instances of counterfeiting and forgery), and have worked in conjunction with federal, state and local agencies on large/in-depth investigations. I focused specifically in the area of organized retail theft and residential and commercial burglary/theft. I have taken and successfully completed the Reid School of interview and interrogation, and have thousands of hours of experience interviewing suspected criminals, witnesses and victims.

While in patrol I achieved many successes, but the most significant was a life-saving award that I received in January of 2012. While in the investigations bureau (detectives) I was lead investigator on several very high profile, multi-agency investigations, and handled a case load of approximately 20 active cases per month.

I am very adept at recognizing quickly and efficiently if criminal activity is afoot. I have excellent communications skills, as I have had to in my tenure as a police officer/detective speak with or interview tens of thousands of people. I have excellent reporting/writing skills, and a vast knowledge of the statues of the State of Mariland and how to apply them to each unique situation. I am also very knowledgeable with the methods that criminals will use to steal and defraud companies.
